A brief introduction to Karpman’s Drama Triangle

Understanding and supporting clients with relationships is something that I do a lot of.

This could be team dynamics, business partner tensions right through to romantic relationships and family.

People often want to control how others behave, yet this is impossible and highly stressful and damaging.

A model I use all the time is something called the drama triangle. It’s shows the different roles we default to in situations with others.

Over the course of this week I’m going to share some more videos about how we can recognise our own behaviour and adapt, rather than seek to control others .

Stay tuned!
